Finally got a nice day after 3 days of gale force winds, Only saw one bear, but a lot new birds and seals showed up.
Absolutely beautiful day, on day 2 of the 2022 Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival!, saw 2 brown bears, lots of puffins, seals, and many other birds calm seas, and bright sun.
Bears are getting fat, bulking up for a long winter nap. Weather has been socked in past couple days,& planes couldn’t get in, so we gave a ride back to couple people that been stranded at a remote lodge....
Rainy day but had a awesome time saw about 30 bears and one ten feet long
