My Alaska season officially ended today fishing silvers on the Kenai, with long tome repeat clients Glenn and pat carlson, they saw bears on our bear tour, caught big halibut and several salmon. Time to catch up on some much...
Bears are getting fat, bulking up for a long winter nap. Weather has been socked in past couple days,& planes couldn’t get in, so we gave a ride back to couple people that been stranded at a remote lodge....
Had another great trip with Dale Buckner and friends, lots of salmon and halibut going back home.
Great day, with great friends from South Dakota, even saw some orcas. 165 pounds of fillets.
Darrell lost a big one right at the boat yesterday, but he made up for it today with this hog, caught on a clear UV squidnation squid with glow beads.
Back to halibut fishing today, rough seas and a monster tide made for a tuff bite but we still got a few nice fish.
Our salmon trip to homer was a great success 32 salmon total. All by 8:30 am, 14 sockeyes And 18 pinks, saw a big pod of orcas on our way back.
Still work in a occasional fishing trip between bear tours, rough water today but the group from New Hampshire took home 100 pounds of fillets.
Rainy day but had a awesome time saw about 30 bears and one ten feet long
