The king salmon bite is still on fire in the saltwater, halibut is getting better as the water is warming up, the flavor of the day for Butts was Bill Pino Squidnation white 9 inch maulers.
Fun day fishing on the GameFisher with some fishing guide buddies, 10 halibut and 1 for 3 on kings plus a giant 12-15 foot sleeper shark.
No sancocho’s today, 5 for 5 on king salmon and 12 halibut 10 year old Josh McDaniels got his first king, nous was a white King too, saltwater king fishing is hot 907-398-1744.
Yesterday’s catch 2 for 7 on salmon and 10 halibut the pink squidnation thin skin was the favorite flavor of the day, hopefully today not as many sancocho’s on the salmon.
First fishing trip of the Alaska season with a good friend. The SquidNation thinskins work great and caught the majority of the fish we hooked.
Fantastic 7th and final day for the Dale Buckner group from Amarillo Texas, Limit of halibut with 3 biggest at 77,60 and 50 pounds. They’re week long total was 56 silver salmon Plus limits of halibut for over 500 pounds...
Day 5 for the Dale Buckner group, incredible fly out trip for silver salmon, 33 salmon in 3 hours tossin spinners kept our limit of 18 and released 15.
3rd day for the Dale Buckner group brought in some nice halibut on the Game Fisher 100 pounds of fillets. Plus a bonus Quill Back & a copper rockfish.
Incredible day of silver salmon fishing on a very remote no name creek on Cook Inlet’s west side, 22 salmon in less than 2 hours all on spinners, mile walk out with 22 silvers.
